THE Op PLAX PROCESS
Before you proceed to the Order Form, please read these instructions carefully.

We have a staff of professionally trained artists who have spent time in the military and understand the culture (know the difference between a CSM and a C7). Please allow them to be the Art Director of your production. There is a certain artistic balance and flow to Op PLAX that enables us to assure you that the finished product will be pleasing to the eye. It also provides a designf continuity from one op to the next should you elect to collect them throughout your career.

With the permission of the great folks at DND and Combat Camera, we have selected 12 suitable background images from which to choose.

If you have one that you really like, send it to us and we will do our very best to make it work.


Please send us creative and interesting photos of you doing what you do while on tour. Keep in mind that this plaque is likely to become a family heirloom commemorating your tenure in the military. For the benefit of balance in composition, please select pictures with the subject facing different directions...and in different poses...at the highest resolution possible.

We literally receive hundreds of pictures daily. Please make sure that your pictures are properly coded with your name, initials and number: ie....smithAB1.jpg, smithAB2.jpg and smithAB3.jpg.


We have the art for just about every regular and reserve unit, formation and branch badge in the CF inventory. However....if you belong to a non-mainstream unit, we may request that you supply us with high res coloured art of your badge.


If it is worn on your sleeve...it should be a part of your plaque design. Please click here to see which patches we have on file. If we do not have yours, please provide a high res digital image.

A special PROOF PAGE is set up in such a way that you can access it from any computer on the internet...all you have to remember is the User ID and Password. Once you upload your pictures and complete the order form, the process begins. After a few days, log on to your organization's PROOF PAGE. If your name has changed from GREY to RED, it means that your information has been received. Soon as we have all the information from the people in your organization, we begin the design process and post the finished plaques to the web-site. If you name changes from RED to BLUE, it is awaiting your approval. The BLUE means it is now a link....click on it to see the design.

If you like what you see, send us an e-mail approving the design. CAREFULLY CHECK THE SPELLING AND DATES! If you require changes or have found a more suitable picture, please let us know and your plaque will receive the highest possible priority until you have exactly what your want. Once approved, your name will turn to GREEN which means that your plaque is in production.
