The Pathfinder crew in the background was commanded by F/L E.H.

course of the war. He along with numerous others were awarded
the Distinguished Flying Cross for "displaying the utmost
fortitude, courage and devotion to duty."
Many Canadians were awarded
the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Distinguished Flying Medal
which are both featured in the design.
The badges include period pilot
wings, Observers halfwing and Wireless Air Gunner's halfwing.
Unique to this design is the 'Pathfinder's Eagle' located just
above the OR's badge.
