This was a very unique shirt
done to commemorate the Calgary Highlanders presentation of the
Queen's Colour. As it turned out, the Pipes and Drums did all
their duties and were never inspected, thus, there is a Gaelic
ribbon at the bottom the design which translates "Without
Inspection".
Also of note, one of the pipers
playing in the ranks that day was an ex-cadet...Gen. John deChastelain...who
was (at the time) Chief of Defence Staff for the Canadian Army.
