At the time that this design was being done, Sgt Ardvan Austin and Lt. Nick Stanton worked at the AFPP office in Calgary...and were serving members of the KOCR's. As the regiment had recently won the coveted Worthington Trophy, we featured it in this design.

Nick left the company to go with the Strathcona's to Bosnia and has gone on to a distinguished career in the reserve.
